Neon gobies, Gobiosoma oceanops are primarily either caught in Florida, or cultured in Florida. These are wild, net caught specimens, which have been held in our system for two weeks and are eating frozen brine shrimp and small pellet foods. Neon gobies are widely known for their parasite cleaning activities and once in your tank they will set up a cleaning station and attempt to clean ectoparasites off the larger fish. They are very compatible with all other fish and invertebrates, and for some reason are not eaten by the majority of predator fish. They will readily eat most commercial fish foods and are very easy to keep
These fish are about ½ to ¾ grown,, or about 1.5' long and the diameter of an overcooked spaghetti noodle. Smaller sizes are available upon request.
